Mobility in the palm of your hand!

This is the new NDrive G280R, a dedicated navigation system with extremely reduced dimensions, only 90 x 75 x 19 mm. Comes with 8GB memory.

With real photos in perspective.

However, don't be fooled by its size. This device is packed with a high-end GPS signal receiver and many extra features. Take a look: Multimedia Player: Plays music, videos, shows photos and reads texts. Games: Have fun and relax everywhere with Bubbles and Breakout games, two fun and very addictive games. Calculator: NDrive G280 comes also with a very usufull calculator.

But besides all, the G280 is a highly effective Navigation Device, using the latest NDrive software engine and the most accurate maps.

NDrive G280. The world goes portable!

GPS Tracker Defense

Simply plug this adapter into the power socket in your car and after one minute it will disable all GPS trackers within a 5 metre range. It does this by preventing trackers from getting a satellite fix. Please note that it may also disable any sat nav or similar devices in the vehicle.

Opera Kestrel 9.50 Beta 1

Super Fast and Free

The Opera Web browser is now free and will access your Web pages 30% faster than IE, and much faster than Firefox when using Tabbed browsing.

I just downloaded this a few hours ago and i'm already satisfied. One of the main problems i had with Opera was that i wasn't able to reply to my mails in my AOL account. I always have to use IE or my phone to reply but it's fixed now with this new version. I'm still not able to move the pictures around when i'm posting here though...maybe that'll be fixed too. If you use Opera, you definitely need to get this - way fast. :)

TomTom GO 930

Now this is the upgrade for my TomTom One. It has an IQ Routes feature, which uses a database of historical vehicle speeds along different paths rather than speed limit information to generate route guidance, and Advanced Lane Guidance (shown above), which aims to make navigating complex interchanges a little simpler, and an accelerometer. Expected price is $550 in April.

TouchBrowser for Pocket PC 1.0

NEW Get iPhone-style internet browsing on your Pocket PC. TouchBrowser lets you control everything using only your fingers. You can type using the large keyboard, glide through web content and scroll through pages with a flick, with full page view.

Tired of Pocket Internet Explorer? Forget about the stylus, the tiny scrollbars and the keyhole view of the internet. TouchBrowser gives you the smooth webbrowsing experience of the iPhone, right on your Pocket PC. It lets you scroll pages with animation and iPhone inertia effects for easy reading.

You can use you finger to move the webpage around the screen, something Internet Explorer can't do. Websites designed for mobile use can be watched in 'mobile view' and full pages in 'desktop view'. A built-in navigation aid tells you what section of a page you're reading, so you never get lost.

PowerBoot

PowerBoot is the solution for people who want to run some certain applications on their cellular phones upon booting up. PowerBoot maintains a startup list of applications and run them when the phone is switched on. Phone users can modify the startup list in PowerBoot. It is just like the Microsoft Windows startup folder on PC.

SmartLight

Tired of the display backlight going out when you are looking at the screen - e.g. while thinking about the right word for an sms? Wouldn't it be nice if your phone knew when you needed the light and when not? SmartLight does just that: Once you have opened an application, the backlight stays on - until you close or hide the application, switching the light off automatically.

Aliph Jawbone 2

After watching the video i wanted to get the Jawbone headset but i just couldn't bare its size...it's just big.

Luckily, the new Jawbone 2 hits FCC! Now, it's smaller and will definitely get it when it comes out...but for now, i'm good with the Jabra BT8010 :)

Jabra BT8010

I received my Jabra BT8010 two days ago and i was able to try them out today. It came with a Jabra BT8010 mono unit, an attachable Jabra BT8010 stereo unit, illustrated user manual, AC power supply, and USB cable. When i opened it, i thought it was a little big for me but i had to try it anyway.

I had to update its firmware which can be found HERE.
What's good about it is you can pair it with two phones and easily connects once it's paired up.
The other good thing is it has a phonebook (up to 30 contacts) so you don't have to take out your phone when you want to make a call. You can manage your phonebook using the BT8010 Control Center PC application. You can also import language packs to it. It's not heavy on the ear but it doesn't look good for petite persons. :)
I tried the stereo attachment unit and it works well though i'd rather use my Bose in-ear headphones to listen to music.

N95 8GB (N95-4 NAM) US version from WOM World

I was given the chance to get my hands on the N95 8GB NAM version from WOM World that arrived yesterday. Everything is practically the same with the phone and contents of the box. The box doesn't have that pink sticker that says 6 months free of navigation but it does when i opened the maps. Some differences i picked out are:

1. The writings around the camera - N95-2 has Cark Zeiss Optics Tessar 2.8/5.6 Autofocus 5 Megapixel and N95-4 has Carl Zeiss Optics Tessar 2.8/5.6 AF 5 megapixel. The letters on N95-4 are larger or more embossed.

N95-2

N95-4

2. Lens - the lens on the N95-2 is more depressed and i already put a lens protector on it from MartinFields.com. The lens on N95-4 is situated on the surface level which will get more scratches.

N95-2

N95-4

3. Keypad and menu button - The N95-2 is shinier or has a glossy appearance if you look closely to the pictures specially on the multimedia menu button.

N95-2

N95-4

4. Product code and Made from? - The N95-4 is made from Korea (Type:RM421) and N95-2 is made from Finland (Type:RM 320). The N95-4 has 16-digits product code where N95-2 has only 5.

N95-4

N95-2

5. Battery cover - The N95-2 has K3-1 and N95-4 has K1-2.

6. Boxes

7. Clock - N95-2 has small letters (am/pm) and N95-4 has capital letters (AM/PM).

8. Profile - N95-2 has 'General' and N95-4 has 'Normal' profile.

9. When you long-press the pound (#) button on the N95-4, it doesn't switch from General to Silent and vice versa.
